question about using pin code

OK this is probably a silly question ....but not sure how to find out but ask you pros!
I have a 35% off moderate code....do I have to buy park tickets from WDW to be able to buy the QSDP? Or can I buy tickets from Undercover tourist?
Also...are the tickets from undercover tourist the exact same as you get from WDW....meaning they are like a plastic card that you can charge stuff on?

Sounds like you are a room only code. You may upgrade it to a package meaning you must buy a ticket and can them add a dining plan.

The tickets from Undercover Tourist are paper tickets, but you can have them added to your Key to the World card at check in. You KTTW card is your room key, dining plan card, tickets if you add them or get a package and you can have a credit card on file so you may also have charging privileges with it.

The dining plans are through WDTC packages, which requires ticket purchases within the package.
