Question about using my Disney Rewards redemption card

I think I can use it at Crystal Palace for our meal but wanted to make sure. Anyone know?

Yep. You can use it anywhere they'd accept gift cards or credit cards.

Yep and certain restaurants (but not CP) are supposed to allow 10% off with either the credit card or the redemption card. But not all servers know the rule about applying the discount with the redemption card.

Edit: The Swan/Dolphin (and its restaurants) elects not to contract with Disney on accepting gift cards- so that's one place at WDW where the reward $ isn't good.

Thanks everyone! I'm also thinking of putting our cash on a Disney Gift card for the rest of our meals so we don't have to carry alot of cash. (Will keep some in cash)

As far as I know we can use these at Disney owned resturants also, right? I think we can't use them at the karts but not sure about that also.

We used gift cards almost exclusively on our last trip and we never encountered a place we couldn't use them (used them for tips at restaurants, alcoholic beverages, souvenirs, snacks). We were able to use them at carts too!

If you are staying on site, at check in you can have your entire rewards card applied to your account and then just pay for meals with the Magic Band or ticket. When you check out you only have to pay any balance not covered by the card.

Using the Magic Band is just so "magical"!
