I think the answer is "no", but maybe someone knows for sure- I am planning a Wishes wedding for October 2014 with most of the events happening in and around EPCOT- I am a DVC member and want to have as many people stay at the Boardwalk Villas as possible and am trying to buy more points from other DVC members to make this happen (transfer points). What I need to know, is can you use a DVC resort as one of your "blocked" resorts?

This would matter as I need to know if I need to specifically target BWV owners for transfer (so can make reservations at 11 month window), or any resort (usually open for other resorts at 7 month window- but wouldnt matter if I had "blocked" rooms). As event is during Food and Wine, these rooms will be tough to get at 7 month window...

You cannot room block a dvc resort, but people who stay there can count toward your room block. To reserve at a dvc resort as you're requesting, you'll have to obtain more dvc points from other members, as you have said. Of course, you can always put boardwalk inn in your room block too, but that will likely cost more than renting points.
