Question about using banked points that are about to expire

300 2011 banked points are about to expire.

If I book a vacation for this year starting on May 31st can I use the 300 banked points for the whole vacation.

IOW, if the vacation starts before the points expire is that ok, or does the entire vacation have to take place before the points expire?

The entire stay must be completed before the end of the UY.

It sounds as though you have a June Use Year. If so, banked points already in your June, 2011 Use Year will expire on May 31, 2012 and cannot be used for any dates after that date - regardless when the reservation begins.

Right now we are still in the June 2011 UY so the points can't be banked 2011 points. They must be 2010 if indeed the OP has a June UY. I am thinking that he has banked points that have to be used by the of the 2011 UY which means the trip has to be completed by May 31st.
