Question about using a pin code for 2 rooms

Hello,

We got the FD pin code that extends into December and have booked 2 rooms at POP (one for us, and one for my in-laws).

Now I'm really considering upgrading to POR (and looking through all the pictures is just making me want to do it that much more...) but I don't think my in-laws will want to spend an extra $600 to upgrade their resort too.

Would we be allowed to upgrade to POR and still have my in-laws stay at POP if we both booked using my pin code?? They're 2 separate reservations but I know they're linked....

And I know we would have 2 different dining plans, that's OK, we can eat some meals separately. I'm only wondering if this would be allowed or not.

You can use a pin code up to three rooms, but it has to be at the same resort.
