heh. i just clicked on this thread to see if i could answer any questions, but looks like jaysue already posted a link to some other Use Year advice i gave before.
anyway, i agree w/ JOC, an Oct UY would be best for Nov-Feb vacations.
however right now Disney is no longer offering Oct UYs w/ Magical Beginnings. (i believe they are selling Dec UYs now) actually, they
might be offering Oct but it's a bad deal because you probably sell back your Oct 2003 points, and then wouldn't get your first points until Oct 2004, AND you'd have to pay dues from now all the way until Oct '04!
if you don't need MB to help with your down payment though, you
could just go ahead and get an Oct UY from Disney just regular price, w/o MB.
if you're looking to buy a resale, it's pretty hard to be picky about Use Years. other factors like home resort, size of contract, and points banked/borrowed/current status will be more important.
basically, don't stress about getting the "perfect" Use Year too much. it's nice to have, and if you have the option, you should go for the most appropriate Use Year. but don't let it limit you unless you know you're likely to cancel ressies last minute. you never know when your vacation patterns will change... and then that "perfect" UY you picked before might not be so perfect any more.
