Question about upgrading to AP

If I purchase a multi-day PH with water park and more non expiring, then I have to upgrade to premium AP or can I just upgrade to regular AP?

BUT ONLY... if you do NOT USE any of the water park and more options befor upgrading.

If you do use any of the water park and more options, then you can only upgrade to
a Premium AP.

Thanks Robo. I wonder if anyone has tried this lately, there will be six of us doing this and man would I unhappy if my attempt to save money ended up costing me. I see that UT has a $68 savings on these tickets so it would save me $408

I have done the bridging before so I know to be prepared ahead of time. One problem I can see is that they do not offer non-expiring on the Disney site anymore so how will they know the bridge price, even I cannot figure that now?
