Question about TS credits

I have a question regarding the credits you receive for the DDP. I know that you received credits for the number of nights that you will be at Disney so my question is this. If we do not use one our our days TS credits and pay out of pocket for our dinner can I use the TS credits on my last day at Disney? So I would be using the TS credits on the day I technically have no dining plan.

Do they expire? Or will I be able to use them?

Yes.
You get one set of credits per Guest for each night of your stay.
Your unused (hard to believe, but many do go unredeemed ) credits expire at midnight of the day you check out.

Katieeldr is correct. You could use all the credits that are left on ur last day until midnight. So if you pay out of pocket for one TS meal and want to use the credit u have left on your last day before or after check out u can, like I mentioned above you have until midnight on the day that you check-out. I would let the person ur checking out with know that you have credits left and that your going to be using them on that day that way ur key remains active for use in terms of ur points. That's what DH and I did. Hope this helps u out.

This is exactly what we were told - midnight. We checked out in am, went to the MK and still used the DDP the rest of the day.

I was hoping that would be the case. We plan on using a TS credit on the last day for breakfast with Lilo & Stitch.

I'm so happy to hear this! I was wondering exactly the same thing. Is it the same for your counter service credits also? This is our schedule.....we check into the All Stars on Saturday night and transfer over to OKW on Sunday. We check out of OKW on Friday morning and into the All Stars for our last night (Friday night). We only have the dining plan for our DVC stay at OKW. So, if I understand correctly, we can use our credits all the way from Sunday when we check into OKW until Friday night at midnight, right?

Your unused credits expire at midnight of the day you check out.

This is absolutely correct.

However...there have been a few situations where folks had difficulty using credits after checkout.

If that happens, the fix is to have the restaurant call the front desk of the resort where you were staying. All DDP credits go through them, and they can recreate your entire DDP history and straighten out any issues. Doesn't occur often.
