question about trip reports

Do trip reports have to have pictures? I've been reading some and I'm curious; I'm thinking of wrting some reports when I do the Italy and Ireland ABDs next year

I, for one, failed miserably getting photos into a trip report so instead I try to write reports with highlights, low points and practical tips.

I think that's what I'm going to do. I Think it's too late to do a trip report for my knights and lights trip last year, but I'll do this for Italy and Ireland. And the future ABDs I might take.
