If you own two seperate contracts are you allowed 1 transfer in or out for each contract or is it just one contract total no matter how many contracts you own?

You are allowed one transfer per membership per use year. If you have multiple contracts under that one membership, you are still allowed only one transfer.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping we would get one for each but we will make it work. Thanks!

If you have totally separate contracts (separate membership numbers) you should be able to do one in or out for each but if you transfer from one to the other that is it. I have not done it but have a contract at OKW and a separate one that is not linked to OKW at SSR so hope it works that way if I ever need to transfer points.

If you have different contract numbers (12345.001 and 23456.001), you get one in or out per contract. If you just have different suffix numbers after the decimal point (ie 12345.001 and 12345.002), they are one contract and you get one in or out per contract, not per add on.

We currently have a contract at BLT and we just put in an offer on an OKW property. Waiting on ROFR. The BLT contract is a Oct use year and the OKW is June. Am I correct to assume they will have different suffix numbers?

No. They will be different accounts entirely because of the different Use Years. To be in the same account, the contracts have to be titled exactly the same AND have the same UY.

They will have different membership numbers and you will be able to have one transfer per year for each one. You could transfer points from one to the other (but that would use the one transfer for each of those memberships).

Man this all sounds complicated. I'm in the same boat as you. I own 200 points I bought from Disney originally, and am currently waiting on ROFR for an additional 75 points through resale. Unfortunately the first set of points is June UY and the second is October. At the time I thought it would be no problem to transfer points, etc, but my goodness this sounds daunting now. Have to be absolutely sure of your plans when you make the transfer or it could come back to bite you in lost points!
What's the best way to use multiple accounts with the same owner? Am I better off booking 3 or 4 nights on one contract and 1 or 2 on the other in order to keep things kosher?

I usually transfer my 50 points from my small contract to my larger contract every year. This year I had to be creative because I had to borrow from next year for both contracts, but I needed a few from the small contract to get enough points for six of my seven nights. When the CM transferred the points, he transferred all 50. I stopped him and corrected him and told him to only transfer something like 18 points. He had to undo the transfer and redo it with the correct number of points.

I needed enough points left in the current UY of the small contract so I could borrow all the points from the next year of the small contract to make one night.
