Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of transfers IN per use year? In other words, if I need a certain number of points, can I have them transferred in by multiple people or does it have to be by just one person?

You are allowed one transfer per year. Transfers both in AND out count. What you are proposing will not be allowed. The transfer in must be by one person.

One lump sum from one member into your account

OR you transferring one lump sum of your points out to another

member per Use Year. You can't do both during a Use Year.

But if you are coming up to end of your current Use Year you can

have a 'back-to-back' transfer ( for lack of a better way to

explain ) -- example, if your Use Year is April on March 31 2009 you

can transfer points either into your account or points out to another

member and this will count for your 1 transfer for your 2008 Use Year.

And then on April 1 2009 you may transfer points either into your account

or points out to another member and this will count as your 1 transfer for

your 2009 Use Year. :goodvibes

Also, transferred points must be 'current Use Year points' - if the
points have been either banked or borrowed then they may not be transferred. But transferred points can be banked by the member receiving them ( the points will keep their original Home Resort status & Use Year month).
