question about transferring points...

Right now I am renting points from a DVC owner. I am looking into purchasing a small, 25 point contract at DVC through resale. If and when I purchase, If I ever need extra points for a vacation can I just go about it the same way as a rental? Will the original owner just transfer their points I have rented to my account? Will I have to pay maintenance fees on the transferred points?

Once transferred into your account the points may be used however you'd like. There will be no fees by DVC on those points.
