Question about transferring points from one member to another

I am a DVC member. If I wanted to rent some points, can those points be transferred directly to my account - without making any specific reservation? Are there any special rules involving this?

I remember reading about this long ago when we purchased (93) but it's been so long I don't remember what it said.

Yes, current points may be transferred to another member.

Banked and borrowed points cannot .

Transferred points will retain their original home resort and use year and are therefore subject to normal 11/7 reservation priorities, but are otherwise usable by the member accepting the transfer. MS will accomplish the transfer. Technically, there can be no financial remuneration for a transfer.
