Question about TOT and EE?

I am a bit of a ride chicken and I have some questions!

Well, I have already ridden Tower of Terror once. I know that it has several different drop sequences so that you get a different experience when you ride it different times. What I'm wondering is, does anyone know for sure what the maximum number of drops are? When I rode it, I think it dropped us four times, and I think that was my limit! I screamed my head off but I did enjoy it and have fun. But I just remember after the last drop, I was thinking "okay, as cool as that was, I think that's enough!" I have heard that it can drop up to 8 times though??? I'm just wondering if I should go on it again. If I could know that it won't drop much more than the last time, I'd probably do it again, but if I could really get stuck being dropped eight times I might skip it this time!

I definitely want to try Expedition Everest this time. The only part I'm worried about is the backwards part. What I want to know is where should you sit if you want to minimize the intensity during the backwards part? I'm a little confused because someone said to sit in the front, because if you sit in the back, it will be intense and you'll feel like you're going upside down. But I've seen other people say the back is less intense and some say to just sit somewhere in the middle. :confused3

If I like Everest then I may even get brave enough to try Rock n' Roller coaster...is there a better part to sit on that one? That maybe makes the launch or inversions less intense?

In any roller coaster, anywhere, sitting in the middle tends to be less scary. You can see where the riders ahead of you go, and that helps! If you get scared, keep in mind the rides actually go about the speed of a car on the highway... not that fast. For rockin' roller coaster, it's a dark ride, which means no matter where you sit, you can't really see anything anyway, but try to stay out of the first seat. It does go upside down, but it's a relatively short coaster, so if you want to try it, I'd actually do that one over EE, personally. Backwards wasn't that big of a deal to me... but I'm a ride fanatic. If you have issues, stare at your feet, a piece of advice my mother gave me the first time I rode a roller coaster and has served me well, and make sure to stay relaxed, when you tense up, bumps and jars tend to seem bigger than they actually are.

Didn't get time for the tot. Sorry can't comment. Ee we sat right at the back with my 7 year old. You didn't feel like you were going upside down but the g force you felt was a lot worse than I had expected. My 7 year old loved it and wanted to go on again but we thought once was enough. RaRc was my favourite ride (didn't take my son on) we sat near the front. Acceleration is quite quick at first just make sure you head is back against the head rest. It goes upside down a few times but you don't feel the g force like on ee. Would have done it more times if we could have.

It's hard for me to believe that TOT has more than 4 drops so I am pretty sure you will be fine.

I LOVE EE, but HATE the backward part. Here's what I do-I hold on tight, and tell myself it will be over before I know it. The rest of the ride is so amazing. Watch You Tube if you are not sure when the backward part comes.

RnR-My sister and I declared the last time the last time for riding it. While it's fun after the first take off I just hate the G-Force when you take off-I describe it as feeling like someone picked you up, and threw you against a wall.

We were dropped 6 or 7 times on ToT once and loved it! That was a few years back though & every time since we've only been dropped 4 times at most...

The sequences in ToT are random every time. You might drop 4 times, you might drop 8. You might have one big drop and 3 little or you might have 4 full drops and 2 little. It's always randomized.

The backwards part in EE is nothing. I don't understand why people make a big deal about it. I don't find it intense or even slightly feel like I'm going upside down. Guess when I go back I'll have to pay more attention to it. I enjoy the backwards curving. Back of rollercoasters are always more intense. So sit in the middle or front
