Question about tickets

Quick question.... A family member bought tickets through Disney. 4 day hoopers now they can only use 3 days. Can they change it? Their trip is not until later this summer. Thanks!

If they are part of a package, yes, but if they bought tickets only, no.

If they bought stand-alone tickets, the person could sell the 4-day tickets (to someone that they know** will be the easiest) or just hold onto the tickets for a future visit.

The difference between a 3-day ticket and a 4-day ticket is $30, plus tax.

We have AP. They are staying at AKL using DVC point. I guess I will have to call and see if they count it because we booked the room for them then got their tickets later. Thanks everyone.

Are the tickets in their possession or did they do will call? If they did will call, they can call Disney and Disney has always been good about allowing a "return" and purchase what they need. It is NOT guaranteed that they will, but they have been good about it in the past. If they did will call, it is worth the phone call to 407-W-DISNEY and ask.
