Question about Tickets

I was planning on buying our tickets through Plum Benefits but did not realize there were taxes and fees with PB. I went to place the order last night and there was only a $20 difference from buying them directly from Disney vs PB.

PB only sends you an email voucher that you can then turn in at the Main Ticket gate for tickets. I have no doubt PB is legit. My question is: Would it be worth it to spend the extra $20 just to have actual tickets mailed to us. I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of a voucher but maybe it's not a hassle at all?

Thoughts? Thanks in advance for advice.

I haven't heard of PB, have you checked Orbitz or getawaytoday.com or ares travel.com? You can likely save more than $20. We used orbitz last year, took the email voucher to the ticket booth our first morning and we were given our tickets for the gate, super easy. Right now they would save us $71 vs buying direct from disney.

I bought tickets from way.com for the trip I took last week. It was a 3-day parkhopper for $244, where Disney.com charges $275. They sent me the e-ticket and I took it straight to the gate, no problem. Also I decided that I'd upgrade to a 4 day, since I had the last half day free; I upgraded at the ticket booths on the Esplanade with no problem, at the regular DL price difference which was $25. If I'd gotten 4 day hoppers through way.com I'd have saved 4 bucks there.

Orbitz right now has buy 3 days get the 4th for free and buy 4 days get the 5th for free

What are they charging you tax on? I'm pretty sure that theme park tickets in California are tax-exempt.

I called Plum Benefits and they said the taxes were added because they are located in Florida. The customer service rep wasn't willing to bend despite the fact I live in a tax exempt state and Disney doesn't add taxes to their tickets. Oh well. Thanks for all you help.

If you buy directly from Disneyland and want actual tickets mailed to you, I believe there is a fee. They also prefer to email you a voucher that you take to the gates with you.
