question about tickets when buying package

Scenario: son's girlfriend is planning on coming with us in october. Bought 7 day tickets to go with free dining plan. If she decides not to go (break up), I will be able to use her ticket for myself on a later trip, right?. When you make the reservation, disney assigns the ticket to each person and it does state non-transferable. but how would disney know if I am her or not (for a future trip). I am sorry if I am not clear on this question. I just want some reassurance that I won't be losing the money on the ticket (even after the final payment.

If she isn't going and its more than 45 days out, I would just have her removed from your reservation.

Tickets are only non-transferable after they have been used once.

Yes, you could use these tickets in the future. They are non-transferable if used, but they can be transferred or sold if unused. As PP posted, if your visit is 45 days out or more, her reservation and tickets can be cancelled. However, there might be a reconciliation within 45 days ... so don't be hasty. If your group's tickets are on one MDE account that you control, these tickets will be listed under her name. If not used, they can stay on your MDE account and be moved to your name in the account (or someone else's) in the future.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. They just started dating about two months ago so I was more afraid that when it got closer they could possibly break up. But you have answered my initial question as to whether I would be able to use the ticket for a future use instead of having to scramble and remove her at the time. Thanks again for the answer.

as long as that ticket remains completely unused, it can be reassigned.
