Question about tickets that never expire

We purchased 2 day US/IOA park tickets that never expire back in March 2000. We were only able use 1 day back then. Now, 6 years later we are finally making it back! We are so excited, and will be staying at RPR April 18-20th. My question is, 2 of the tickets are Child since my kids were 9 and 5 years old at that time. Now they are 15, and 11. Will there be any problems in using these tickets for them? Also, my son's ticket had a problem scanning originally, and they had to scan it again. Did that count as using the 2 days on it? I hope not. I am so worried that we are going to get down there and our tickets won't be honored. Any help will be greatly appreciated. These boards are great sources of information. Thanks!

You will have to upgrade to an adult ticket for around $10.

Also, my son's ticket had a problem scanning originally, and they had to scan it again. Did that count as using the 2 days on it?

No you can scan it as many times in one day and it still counts as one day.

I am so worried that we are going to get down there and our tickets won't be honored. Any help will be greatly appreciated. These boards are great sources of information. Thanks!

Thanks for your help. Now I don't have to worry about the tickets, and can plan on getting ready for the trip. I'm so excited!!
