Question about tickets from Disney website

I will be buying 5-day hoppers for 7 people from the DLR website. I have the option of adding MaxPass to the tickets and plan to do that also. My questions are: Will the MaxPass be for the first day we use our tickets? And since our first day in the DLR is a Thursday, will that be our Magic Morning day?

I believe you’d be adding Maxpass to every day in advance. If you don’t want that, purchase it day-of in the app.

The upcharge is $70, $10 for each ticket, so it is for one day. I assume that it would be for the first day we enter the parks but not sure.

With that many people, you may want to purchase it each day so you can decide whether you need it — it is $10 per person each day. If you like photos, you may want to have one person buy it each day and use their code for all photos, since you get them free with MP, but only for the days purchased.

I know this wasn't part of your question but it's a nice option to consider if available in your area.

Does your grocery stores have Fuel Point Rewards?

Mine does...
When I have a Disney trip coming up I buy several Disney Gift Cards, to pay for hotel and tickets.
My favorite time to buy GC's is when the store has a special 4X the points for every dollar spent.
The $1 off per gallon helps when I'm filling our gas guzzler.

I believe if you buy MP at the time of ticket purchase, you must buy for all guests on the order, and for all days of the ticket. So in your case, $70 per day x 5 days or $350. If you don’t know if you want it everyday, you can buy it one day at a time, each day that you want it, after you scan into the park, on the app. Takes only a minute if credit card is stored in app.
