question about tickets: extra days vs. park hopper

Sorry. I have a couple more question about this.

1. If I load the two separate tickets into the MDE app, will I still be able to use them both on the same day?

2. Will the MDE app allow me to make FP+ reservations for both parks since it is two separate tickets, or will I still have to wait and use the Kiosks at the second park? And will the app pull the right ticket when I enter the park? For example, if I go to Epcot first, will the app show that I am using the ticket with the Epcot FP+ reservations or will I have to have the CM deactivate or prioritize one of the tickets first?

Thank you all for your help.

1. Yes.
2. Only if you create another "person" in your MDE file and assign the ticket to that "fake person." You can use either ticket yourself, regardless of the "name" used in MDE.
3. There is no "right ticket" in this case, as FP+ is NOT CONNECTED directly to specific tickets.
4. No.

So, I'd add a name like "Annie" to your MDE file and assign your second ticket to that name,
and make advanced FP+ for that ticket.

Then, just use "Annie's" hard ticket to enter the second park.
"Annie's" FP+ can be accessed by scanning "Annie's" ticket at the FP+ entrances.

1. Yes. Unlike when someone tries to use a non-park hopper in two parks on the same day, when you enter the second park, the system will see that you have a valid ticket.

2. No, you can only book 3 per day in one park. FPs aren't attached to a specific ticket.

Except you would have an issue if you try to connect two tickets on one magicband/the same MDE account.

If you have two tickets on one account the system will only allow access to one ticket at a time. I don't think you an 'unlist' a ticket once if has been listed.

Usually for most guests it is not cost effective to buy two tickets over buying hopping.

Even if your one day ticket was free, you might consider the value of holding onto it. Disney no longer sells non-expiring tickets. (the ability to sue a few days of a ticket, then come back years later to use the remaining days.)

I had no idea, I am glad I asked.

I'm curious if there are many people who had no idea, didn't ask, and then are turned away at the gates attemping to hop with a non-hopper ticket.

Do they cause a scene when denied entry? Give one star reviews on Yelp? Tell friends that Disney is the worst place on earth?

The folks I saw try it simply turned around and left.

After so many years on these boards, I can tell you that I've read myriad reports of guests doing all kinds of things when they
discovered, "No Hopper... No Hopping" at the gates.
