Question about ticket price increase

We are going to Disney over Thanksgiving (along with the rest of the world!). I unfortunately have not purchased my tickets yet. So have prices gone up or not?!

I checked ticketmania.com and their prices are increased and shows that Disney's price is increased. But at Disney's site the prices are still the same and I called my Disney Store and their prices have not increased yet either.

So what's the deal? Should I run, not walk to my Disney store and purchase my tickets ASAP? And if I buy them online at Disney's Site do I have to pay shipping?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm a Disney Virgin!

Yes, go to your Disney Store today... as long as you are not trying to purchase using your Disney Club Card Discount, you should be OK. The Disney Stores no longer sell the Disney Club Card discounted tickets.

The Disney Stores still sell Disney Club discounted Park Hopper PLUS tickets. There is no longer a DC discount available on the 4 and 5 Day Hopper tickets (those without plus options).

Run, not walk, to get your tickets now- the price bump is substantial and we seem to be in something of a grace period right now in terms of ticket prices, as long as you buy in advance. Disney shipping is cheap- $3.

I am headed to Disney in Oct/Nov, and planned to buy my tix at check-in. Its clear now that you can still get the tix at pretty much the old rates either through the discounters or the Disney Club, if you're a member, but only if you purchase in advance.

I almost bought at Paramountinternationaltravel.com - many people on this board have used them, and they have some of the best prices (7 day hopper plus for $284 as compared to $308 Disney Club as compared to $325 new advance purchase rate as compared to I believe $338 (plus tax?) at check in). I chickened out at the last minute, cancelled the sale, and went with Disney Club (once you factor in shipping costs, the price differential wasn't worth it to me). If I wasn't a member of the Club, I would go w/paramount, check this board, there are a number of posts on the subject (if you're in the stock market, you could probably stomach the risk of buying tix from a nonDisney source!).

Well I got scared and went ahead and bought my tickets at the Disney Store when I went to pick up my copy of Monsters Inc. And I used my $10 gift card off on the purchase too. They had a special going that you got a pumpkin candy bucket and flashlight if you purchased $40 or more - but it didn't count on theme part tickets.


But at least I have my tickets. Now I just need to pay them off of my credit card that I charged them on!

I am going to purchase my tickets at Paramount. I only need three days for this trip and they have a three day park hopper with one plus feature which I will use to get into WWof Sp. I am not going to be back to DW for a few years at least so I am not going to invest in a pass for days that I don't use for several years. We need to purchase 3 passes and the cost of shipping is per order so I am doing fairly well on the price.
I think that there are alot of things that DW has to offer that have nothing to do with park entry and I am hoping to find them this trip.
I still think that DW has the best to offer for your vacation $ but I have been going to DW yearly for 15 years and I would like to see other things than the line for Peter Pan during the day.
