Question about things delivered to hotel

I don't know if this is where I should post this or not, but I am wondering about having something special delivered to my room at AKL in August for my husband. I've seen posts about having cakes delivered to restaurants, and I know there is a florist and stuff, but that's about it. What will they deliver to my room, and does anyone have anything specific to recommend? Thanks. I am not sure who to order from or how. I'm lost at disneyworld I admit it.

I am having a special basket made up for my DH for our 50th wedding anniversary by memoriesbybetsy. I emailed her his "interests" and "favorite Disney characters" and then she came back to me with some thoughts. I agreed to most and told her the one other thing I wanted in the basket I would order and send to her to include. She has been very helpful. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions about this.

You can have pretty much anything delivered to your resort, but you may be required to pick it up from the front desk. Check with the specific resort, even on things like a Dominos pizza the rules vary from one resort to another, at one resort the pizza was delivered to our room at another we had to go pick it up in the lobby.
