This comes with a 3 day park ticket to disney. Can we upgrade it at the gate to 6 days?

Yes, you can, it is a regular 3-day pass. I did this a few years ago - upgraded to an AP. I think I paid the difference between the AP rate and the advance-purchase price of the 3-day pass (the price you pay if you order on the Disneyland website).

We just got back this past week from our trip using the so cal citypass. We upgraded the 3 day parkhopper to a deluxe AP. We got a $179 credit for the adult hoppers and $149 credit for the child parkhoppers. So we ended up paying $110 to upgrade the adult and $140 for the child.

Since you'll be upgrading the parkhoppers to more days, the question is how much you'll end up paying. Will they charge you for the advanced purchase price of parkhoppers or will they charge you gate prices?
