Question about the shows at DLP

I was looking at the times guide on the DLP website to get an idea of when the shows are performed. For "The Legend of the Lion King", does anyone know which times are English performances? Also, where do we go to get tickets for it?

I saw on the times guide "La Cavalcade" and "La Pinata". What are these shows?

Thanks for your help! We are excited for our trip (only two more days!), but we are unfamiliar with DLP and don't want to miss out on too many great things!

The only bit I know the answer to is where to get LK tickets, to the left of Star Tours is a hub type place, the entrance is to the right of the train station entrance. You have to queue here at a specified time and get a ticket for each person in your party, you dont all need to wait as one person can ask for all tickets needed.

Thanks Jodie! I am guessing the park guide / map will indicate which performances are in English and which are in French, so it shouldn't matter I am just in "planning overdrive" right now!

La Cavalcade is a Halloween mini parade with Witches, Pumpkin-Men and Stitch - with other characters thrown in too though they are less featured. It's great fun and they interact with the crowd really well.

La Pinata is just that - it's a hit the Ghost Pinata session with sweets to be had!

When we were there in September....the tickets went up for grabs 1 hour before the performance....so get there sharpish as the tickets go quite quckly. Yes....queue just to the left of star tours beside the station.....afraid another queue but by the time you got your tickets.....it's time to get a good seat in the theatre and settle down to watch the show.

We really enjoyed it......

I think the running order for the LK show was French, English, French, English, French

Although if you end up in the French show I'm sure you'll enjoy it as it is mostly music :goodvibes

I can relate to this, we still haven't seen it as they have always ran out of tickets by the time we remember to get them.

I think you can also watch the show from the Hyperion restaurant too if you don't get a ticket :goodvibes

They are slow in updating the programme on the main DLP website. It's still showing the last date of 29/10/06!

::yes:: This is ideal if you are on a tight schedule or can't bear the thought of queuing ;) although I would still recommend watching it from the theatre itself for the first time. :)
