Question about the process

Our contract was sent to ROFR on 4/25 and we got a call from our broker on Friday (5/4) to give us an update. She said that Disney had received our signed agreement and was "meeting" to discuss our contract and "make their decision" and would be in touch soon.

I had never heard of this step. I assume it just something that brokers don't usually share. Has anyone also been called at thi point in the process? Seems to me that our broker is doing a VERY good job at keeping us in the loop!

My guess is that they simply put the process into different words. I do not think they were implying that THEY were meeting with Disney. Mark May25th on your calander for update for Disney. It may come sooner, but don't expect it.

Thanks! Yes, just to clarify...she did not say they were meeting with Disney. Just that we were in the computer and that Disney had put us in their system so a decision would be made in about 2 and a half weeks.

It's called ROFR, I guess you could say that they are meeting to decide what to buy back.
