This is such a strange question, I know... *blush*

We are going to Disneyland for the first time ever (East Coasters here!) in May and I'm trying to plan out where we want to eat. This involves reading over the menus and the recommendations of you wonderful folks!

I have heard SO MUCH about the Plaza Inn's fried chicken, but my question is- it comes with three pieces. Is that white meat, dark meat, a mixture? I pretty much only eat chicken breasts, but DH loves anything.

I was thinking if it included a breast, we could possibly split the meal and then have more opportunity to snack (buwahahahaha) throughout the park.

It comes with a mix. You get a chicken breast, thigh, and drumstick I believe.

Thank you very much! I appreciate your help!

Yes, it's a mix. I too prefer breasts over thighs and legs so generally I will eat most of the breast and DBF eats the other 2 pieces we get and some of the breast as well. We share a chicken dinner at PI, add a side salad and we are full when we are done. It's a great meal, especially to share.

A very delicious mix, including a huge breast meat section! Now I always ask for the beef gravy on the potatoes though, I like it better than the chicken gravy, and yes there is plenty for sharing and snacking!! here's a pic to get you ready....oh sorry the biggest piece with the breast meat is missing off the plate....I NEVER remember to take my picture first!! Lol..

Your going to love the West Coast. Disneyland is so amazing.

My DH doesn't like dark meat, so I asked for all white meat. They gave him 2 breasts. I really love the Plaza Inn chicken, and can't wait to have it again in June!

We always ask for all white meat and double mashed instead of green beans. Great meal for DH and I.

This is one of our favorite things to eat at DL! It is huge and you can split it, unless you are super hungry. I usually don't care for fried chicken, but this chicken is so moist and delish and the chicken isn't all yucky inside if you know what I mean. Yumm, and the skin.... oh my..... my mouth is drooling....

Have fun and enjoy!!

You guys are SO GREAT! I would have never thought about asking for all white meat- I guess I figured they wouldn't do that!

Thank you all :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

We all like white meat as well. We always ask for all white and have never had a problem! :thumbsup2 Also, Plaza Inn has some really awesome desserts that you may not see anywhere else in the parks. We usually get a dessert for later and ask for a container to store it in at the register.!:goodvibes

If you can get all white meat, then maybe I can get all dark!!! Yay!!!

Do they charge more for all white meat? They still include at least one piece of breast right.

I may just have to share a meal with my mom-no way could I eat more than one breast.
