I have read on here that I can purchase a photoPass CD. I know it includes pictures such as in front of the castle, by the Tree of Life, etc. My question is, Does it also include the action pictures taken on rides or the pictures available from some of the character meals? I noticed some people say that they had almost 90 pictures (at least I think that's what I remember reading :confused3 ). Where did they get all of these pictures taken? Help me figure out if this will be worth my money! I don't want to purchase pictures somewhere, only to find out later that I could have just gotten it on the CD. Thanks!

Photopass pictures are only those taken throughout the parks like on Main Street or at some character meet and greets. The ride photos and restaurant photos taken are not part of Photopass.

You will know which photos taken are on your Photopass card because they will ask for your Photopass card to scan it so they can put the photos taken on it.

The most photos my family of 4 had on the card was about 58. That was a weeks worth of photos taken. I don't know how they have that many on their cards! :confused3

If you purchase this CD, can you then take it to your local store and make your own copies (or print them out at home)? I've never had a photo CD, but can only imagine this must be so if you're spending near $100 to buy it.

Thanks

I am also wondering if the photos have all the neat "extras" - holding Tink in your hand at MK, the year or some of the other extras. This sounds like a great idea. Although I have noticed since they have started the Photopass the photographers just seem to click away and not really position you for a good picture. I got a picture of my boyfriend and I on my birthday in our gold Mickey ears in front of the castle. The only problem is my boyfriends Mickey ears are covering the new mirror on the castle. They just don't seem to pose you anymore - they are more concerned about snapping pictures.

I just got back from WDW last Saturday so I can tell you all about th Photopass CD since I bought one.

1. It does cost $100 and you can only get it at EPCOT or GF resort. I was also told at the Exhibition Hall at the MK but then was corrected when I asked again.

2. You can enhance your photos before they burn the CD. So like if you want to put the year, a border, or character signature on it you can. And the nice thing is that it gives you a modified picture AND the original. The more pics you modify the more photos you end up having. We started with 200 photos and after I modified some I think we had around 250.

3. They can combine Photopass cards. We had 2 cards and they put all the pics on one CD. So that's really nice-especially if you forget it in your room or something. PLUS-ALWAYS write down your pass number/s. They can still look them up with the number.

4. They will give you a license agreement that you can give to WalMart or wherever you would go to print them out.

5. The photos from rides like Splash Mountain are not on the pass. But I kept telling the CM's that they should do that.

6. They can take your pictures all over the parks. They are usually always with a character, but we did find at times that they weren't. If you have a Disney Visa card you can get a free 5x7 at Innovations at EPCOT. These pictures are also Photopass pictures and they take a lot of photos. We went twice and I think I have 20 pictures between both trips. There were 3 characters there and they danced around with the kids and had fun. The photopass people just kept taking pictures. WHAT A BLAST!!

I hope all this info helps. If you have any other questions send me a PM and I'll answer them.

Cool! I am very happy to see that you can combine Photopass cards on one CD as my daughter will probably have a separate one on our next trip.

Thanks for all the info on the Photopass. It sounds like a great idea. We'll check it out the next time we are in WDW.
