question about the parks

I know that there are four major parks but I was wondering about disneys boardwalk and downtown disney ..I don't know anything about them are they in MK or what or do i ahve to buy an option to get into these places? thanks ps I don't know if this is the right place to post this ..Linda

They are kind of their own seperate entities. Someone on the board can explain it better then me. Downtown Disney is their shopping area. Also has tons of restaurants and also Pleasure Island at night. Anyone can walk around there for free, except for Pleasure Island - that has a fee. But depending on your park passes it maybe included.

The boardwalks has a few restaurants and stores. There is no admission.

Disney's Boardwalk is at the resort, the Boardwalk. You would have to drive there or take the bus to MGM or Epcot to get there. There is no fee to visit it. It's just restaurants, shops and a lake really.

Downtown Disney is a shopping/eating place which is also free to go to. You'd take the bus to it or drive to it.
