I was wondering how it works with a child in a wheelchair, i saw where it is accessible but is there room for a parent too?

If you do the room its accessible for two wheelchairs I think and then there are two benches on either side for another two people.

If you do the sub your entire party will be last on and first off and yes everyone fits. Beware the stairs are steep and winding if you choose this route but nobody rushed us down at least by being last on.

Right now the line for wheel chairs is much smaller than the regular line and when we did the room we didnt have to wait in that line at all. They let us go in the room as soon as the party prior to us finished.

The Nemo ride has room for someone to ride with the guest in a w/c, or in my case, my service dog riding beside me. ---Kathy

The clam opens a little different then other rides that you can put a wheelchair on but there is room for a wheelchair and one other person in the clam.

I answered assuming this question was about the Nemo sub ride in Disneyland not the Nemo ride in Epcot lol.

I forgot there is a whole other disney out there. lol

Not meaning to highjack, but expand on your question: What is the accessibility to an ECV? If you leave it behind, does the ride unload near the same place as you load?

Yes, there is room for the wheelchair and companion. I rode it with my adult daughter and her wheelchair is big. Plenty of leg room for you :)

Plan to wait much longer than everyone else for Nemo. (use restroom before you get in line because you can't get out) only one of 5 submarines is accessable and only for one wheelchair at a time. They don't warn you of this at the beginning of the HC line. When you pass the "15 minute marker" you will watch 4 sub's full of people go by for each 1 HC group. It's frustrating, and if you need to leave, it's humiliation for the child in the chair because it's a major undertaking to move thru a line full of wheelchairs in a chair yourself when the line is only designed for one chair at a time. :confused3 Maybe they'll make some changes, it's new. Have Fun!
