Question about the Laundry room for studios at BoardWalk Villas...

I'm renting points for a stay at a studio at BWV. I know we don't get ALL DVC member perks.... But is the a BWV laundry room for studio suites for free or quarters? How do we access the laundry room? Is the room key enough?

it's free, there are slots for the quarters but you don't put any in . i'm not sure if there is even a lock on the door? they're on the boardwalk level around the corner from the elevators.

We used the laundry facilities once during our Jan. '06 trip, and it was very convenient and free. We brought our own detergent, but they have a machine with detergent and fabric softener available for purchase. There's a tv in the room, so if you don't feel like leaving your clothes in the washer or dryer (we did--no problems!), you'll have something to do.

Even though there is no need to put coins in the slot - you still have to push it in to get the machine to work.

Right, so make sure if someone else will do the laundry that THEY know it's free. DH used money at VB, I forgot to tell him.
