Question about the FTP that was offered this summer

I was wondering how much you saved booking the FTP as opposed to a regular package deal w/hotel and the ultimate park hoppers (can't remember the name). I know it was stay for 7 nights and pay for 4, right? I was wondering about the savings.

When compared to the regular Dream Maker Package, I saved over $1000!!!!

This was a great question! I knew that we had at least saved the cost of the passes but this gave me a reason to calculate it. All together we saved $1635.90 on a garden view concierage room at the Polynesian! I am really impressed! Glad to hear that other people were as lucky with the savings!

I actually figured this out a few weeks ago when someone asked me if I actually saved enough to make it worthwhile.

I had reservations at POR which I switched to WL and I'm going alone. I saved over $1,000.00 versus paying rack and full UPH price. The savings when I calculated it was a little over 40% off.

I also saved about $1000. We had thought about going and checked the price before the FTP, then I checked again and it was about $1000 cheaper, so I booked right away with those savings.

I already had the villas at BCV booked, and it took a while to get all four of them switched over to the FTP, but once I did we saved over $4,000. We had (1) two-bedroom, (2) 1-bedroom, and (1) studio. We had started out with (2) 2-bedroom and (1) studio, but the 2-bedroom was the hardest one to switch over to the discounted package so I split one up that was all adults. When I booked the studio, I was able to apply a Disney Club discount (15%?) so after the FTP was applied, it was a REAL savings.

We saved over $2000 - our YC concierge package for family of 5 (4 adult, 1 child) would have been around $5600 and cost us $3400. Great savings for us! The savings depends on the price of hotel and the number of UMP you need for your family.
