In regard to Disney's current promotion where they are giving away a Disney visa gift card with a pre-determined amount ($300.00 at value resorts, $500.00 at moderate and $750.00 at deluxe) when you book a five night package, how do you actually receive the gift card?
Is the card issued to you when you check it, is it sent to you once you pay the balance of your trip package, or is it sent to you after your trip?
The reason I ask is because we were not really planning on taking a trip this early in the year, however, I figure if Disney were to issue the $500.00 gift card (for booking our package at a moderate resort), then we could use that toward food and other expenses, sort of like getting free dining. Or, rather, the extra money, if we could actually use it during the trip, would make the cost worthwhile. However, if it were something where the card is issued after the trip, then it's really not worth it so much.
