Question about the Barber Shop at Magic Kingdom

Has anyone ever scheduled a haircut at the Barber Shop at Magic Kingdom?

We heard that we can have glitter put in the kids' hair, and not really have to get a haircut.

Also, do you need an appointment or is it just walkin and wait on line?

When my kids were younger, we decided spur of the moment to get Disney haircuts and walked right in. The barber shop quartet came in to get their hats so we asked them to give us a private mini concert which they were happy to do. We also took pictures with them behind the barber chair. Great memory book pages!

I'm sure that they have something available if you aren't interested in a real haircut. We wanted the ears cap that said "My First Haircut" and they were more than happy to let us have one. It doesn't hurt to ask. Good Luck.

The Main Street Barbershop doesn't take reservations. It's first come, first served.

my dd did not get her hair "cut" but she did get a princess braid (aka french braid) and pixie dust... ds got his hair cut and now refuses to get it cut anywhere *But* disney... gotta plan a trip just for his haircut! LOL!
