Question about TGV from Charles de Gaulle to DLP

I was wondering if it was necessary to pre-book a ticket for the train? We will be traveling a week from today, and hopefully taking the 12:58 train to DLP. I saw on the information thread that you can pre book, but I am not sure if it is necessary or not.

I think its cheaper to prebook, and also it gives you a guarantee of being on the train, just incase its very busy
