Question about Targe 75.00 BF purchase for 20% shopping pass

Has anyone placed an online order for over the $75 and gotten the coupon that way?>

The ad online and in print both clearly state that the coupon will not be emailed until Saturday following a Friday online purchase.

I've been torn all day about whether or not to venture into the store to ensure getting the coupon! I ordered Disney gift cards and a toy online this morning totalling over $100, so I should get it in my email tomorrow, but nervous that it won't come for some reason... Fingers crossed it all works as planned! :) Even if the coupon doesn't work on Disney gift cards next week, I shop there enough for other things, but would love reduce the cost of my spring trip!

So today I purchased a Disney Gift Card, a Chick-fil-A gift card, and some movies to get to $75 (after target discount) and got the coupon.

What I found interesting was that the Disney gift card rang up as "Disney" and the Chick-fil-A gift card rang up as an "entertainment card." Previously, the Disney gift card also rang up as an "entertainment card."

I guess we shall find out on Sunday if this 20% off coupon works or not.

It wasn't just my local Target that rang up the Disney gift card as "Disney." A friend did a similar purchase about 40 miles away at another Southern California Target.

I don't think that bodes well for Sunday. :( Still hoping but my gut says it's not going to work.

Here in central Florida, my Disney gift card rang up as an "entertainment" card today.

My Disney cards rang up as "Disney." :scared:

Eep.

I'm taking the dear relations to Disney at Mardi Gras and DH and I decided that we would give them MK tickets for their Christmas present. (Staying at our DVC.) It would certainly be nice to get any discount on those tickets!

I JUST bought $1400 in Disney Gift Cards last weekend. Could kick myself now. Oh well, I got 9.5% off on them (stacked a Pharm reward coupon with my Redcard discount) so I'm happy I got that. Not sure what I was thinking getting them the week before Black Friday! Eh, live and learn. I've still got $500 left to buy, so not a total loss!

I made a $75 online purchase of a Target Gift card, LOL. Waiting for my 20% off! That's going to be one heck of a shopping trip!

I bought two disney gcs at a target in northern ohio at the same time, $25 card and $50 card. One said "entertainment" on receipt and other said "disney". :shrugs:

The computer gurus at Target must have sniffed out the loophole for the $25 cards, but forget to code in the $50's?? I was at Target just a few minuites about... I doubt they had more than 10 of the 50 ones on the shelves. They were in a special GC sales cardboard thing by the food. All of the ones at the checkout for $25.

For those of you who recently bought Disney gift cards and noticed they rang up as "entertainment" or "Disney), what amounts were they? Wondering if maybe the newer $25 cards are ringing up differently than the $50 ones.

My $50 rang up as ENTRMNT CARD. And they have moved them all over the store...there were displays all over with the $50 and the displays with the $25 are out front (I'm in KS right now.)

Looked for info on this and what I found is the 20% must be used in 1 trip between Dec 1-7 2013.

Kinda puts a damper on it.
