If we schedule a trip staying at two different DVC resorts, how do we get the luggage to the second resort? Will bell services move the luggage? Is there any fee for that service if they do?

Bell services moves your luggage. Call Bell Services the morning of check out, and when they come to your room, explain what resort you are switching to. Go to park or pool or where ever you desire. Return to other resort later in the day. At front desk, mention your luggage has been transferred. Ask for bell services to bring to room. Voila! Luggage transferred without a fee. Now if only they would pack/unpack your luggage for you....

It is usual to tip the bell person when they pick up and when they drop off.

I've done it several times, and it's generally an easy transition. The luggage isn't guaranteed at the new resort until after 3:00, however, so bring your bathing suits if you want to swim before then. And unlike DME, they won't deliver your luggage to your new room unless you're there (at least that's what I've always been told at BCV or AKV).

They will also transfer your food and keep perishables refrigerated for you.

Just let bell services know, there is no fee. Of course tipping is expected. It was very easy for use. Our bags were in our room and groceries as well when we arrived back from the parks. We were missing one bag, but even a 10pm they were able to search and locate it and bring it to our room very promptly.

We have done this before several times and we have always had to call for our luggage. Ours was not placed automatically in the room. And there have been several times when the luggage was not transferred by 3 pm (I did not know there was a "guarantee" as one stated.)......

Of course, we tip upon pick up and delivery to room. But lately, we have found it much easier and less stressful just to get a taxi over with our luggage.

We always transfer our own luggage. We usually have golf clubs and a good number of bags, so we prefer to do it ourselves. Every time I ask bell service if someone has the time then I would rather pay them to drive me over to our new resort than a taxi. Every time they take us up on it. Nice big van and great info along the way. $25 well spent knowing my luggage is with me and not hopefully on its way to our new resort.

I have done this several times and found the switch to be pretty seamless. Bell services moves everything so you can leave one resort in the am, spend all day at the parks and return "home" to your second room at the end of the day.

We've done this before, and the only upleasant part is re-packing and unpacking suitcases. Bell Services is great. Sometimes the bags are there when you check in, sometimes they won't deliver until you show up and are in the room.
