I ordered this swimdress online because I like the shape of them. The bottom would hide a belly bump I have, and I'm not even pregnant.
When it arrived, it was a lot longer then I expected, about the length of a regular miniskirt. I thought it would barely skim the bottom of the panties the way a tennis dress or figure skating outfit does. In black, it actually looked like I was parading around in a negligee.
The one thing I really noticed is that it wasn't really attached to the panties, other than at the top seam around the waist, so that if I'm in the water while wearing it, the skirt part of it would float up to the top of the waterline - looking like a floating amoeba around me, & leave "exposed" swimpanties under the water.
My question is: Are swimdresses NOT really made to be worn in the water or for swimming, but only at pool side? Or did I get a badly designed swimdress?
