Question About SWA Rapid Rewards

I have a Rapid Rewards number set up.
When I book 4 flights for my family and I it only allows me to enter the account number in the Rapid Rewards box next to my name.
Should I be able to put the same number next to family members names as well?

Not sure about that, but I know you can get credit for the trip even after you fly. I did this for my DD over the summer. I wrote SW a letter with her RR number and printed out a copy of her flight info - and she got the RR credit.

If I see the flight prices drop or become available the same days at a cheaper price,
do you know under what circumstances I can change theM
(I have a Fun Fare one way and a Refundable fare coming back)

Sorry, I can't help you with flight prices, since I've only used RR for all my SW flights (I have SW Visa and college aged kids!).

If you sign up your other family members for RR between now and your flight, you can either call before the flight and have the numbers added to the reservation, or you can show their RR "cards" to the gate agent at the airport, who can add them before departure.

As to the better-priced fares, if that happens, call SWA Customer Service and they will tell you what can be done; often a credit can be arranged. Act fast, though, the fares could sell out literally in minutes.

So, is it 16 credits that gets you 1 flight?...and if so,is that 16 credits on the same RR number (I don't suppose I can add them together?)

Sorry, can't combine credits for multiple passengers onto one RR account. It's 16 credits per account.

However, you can sometimes fudge a little bit with "partner" credits from hotels, etc.; I've handed a Hilton desk clerk DH's RR card when I'm on business trips, and had it accepted without batting an eye. He flies more often than I do, so his account is often just a credit or two away from a ticket, and that partner credit can be enough to bump him over.
