Question about Super 8

It looks like we may be doing a short DL trip the 2nd week of March during our kids' spring break. This will be a "low budget" trip since we already did our big week-long trip back in October. We are going to spend 2-3 days in the parks (probably 2) and 3-4 nights at a hotel. I am looking at the Super 8 on Katella and probably catching the ART at the Ramada stop. Has anyone stayed there lately? It looks like it has pretty good reviews but I haven't seen any recent ones. Also has anyone taken the ART from that stop? It doesn't look like there are any stops between there and DL (taking the 6 route) but I haven't used it before so I don't know how long it really takes to get there. Keep in mind we are not early risers so getting there for the rope drop is not a huge deal of us.

Thanks in advance!

Super 8 on katella is our go to budget place and we love it. It's recently renovated, rooms always clean, good free WiFi too. The art stop is right out front with is convenient and I think it's maybe got one more stop afterwards. It's pretty quiet for a motel unless people are right outside the door in the am. Definitely a great budget choice.

My SIL always stays there and really likes it. Says there is a McDonald's on the way to the parks too.

We just checked out of this place Tuesday. My only complaint was that housekeeping kept rearranging the way I'd rearranged the room to help my mobility problem (broken foot, was in an ADA accessible room and kept moving the chairs around to help me get around the room more comfortably). Breakfast was fine, the room was clean and comfortable, check in and checkout were really easy, staff was friendly and we discovered when checking in that the toilet wouldn't flush properly and maintenance was there right away to fix it. We'd stay again. Loved the location next to the nice restaurants and was a short walk to the parks. Even with me in a wheelchair, we never needed to drive anywhere, it was close to everything.

We stayed here 2 years ago. In fact, the only reason that I don't still stay there is because Hubs thinks the walk is too long. (It's not.) Last time we were there, they were updating, so that should be done by now. It was quiet overall, other than when neighbors were having keycard issues. Prices are fairly reasonable. It's nice to be able to stop at 7-11 on the way to/from the parks/hotel. It's nothing "special", but it's comfortable and clean!

Thanks everyone for your responses. It sounds like Super 8 is going to be perfect for what we want. I am glad to hear it is nice, if basic. That is exactly what we need.
