Question about Sunrise Safari

We will be doing the sunrise Safari in May and wonder what time does the breakfast after the safari end? We hope it is right before or at park opening. Does anyone know ?

We did the Sunrise Safari in mid May 2005 and I can't really remember what time we were finished. We were allowed to linger over our breakfast for as long as we wanted and people left at their leisure. If I recall we didn't linger but we didn't rush either. When we came out of Tuskers the park was definitely open as there were lots of people around already though it wasn't what I would call crowded for about an hour after. I'm sure you will absolutely love it! We are going back to WDW in Aug 06 and I asked my family if they would like to do the Safari again or try something different and they all said a definite yes to repeat the experience!! It was a definite high light for all of us and well worth the time and money. The breakfast is not only delicious but is huge as well so don't plan on an early lunch if at all!

We also did the sunrise Safari in May and if my memory is correct, we had to meet in the lobby around 7 am, and the actual safari didn't end until after 9. I remember walking TO Tuskers after the safari, and the park was already open (before we even ate breakfast).

P.S. The cinnamon french toast was SOOOOOOO good!!!

J and T's mom when are you doing this in May? We will be there from the 30th of April to the 9th of May and are doing ours on the Thurs of that week. Just wondered if our paths might cross.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but what is the sunrise safari? I'm guessing it's like kilomanjaro but less ppl and not scripted? Anyone have any info

Sunrise Safari is available to concierge level guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The trip uses the same path and vehicles as the "regular" Kilimanjaro Safari expedition, however, the spiel is delivered by someone from the Animal Programs staff, and it's a much longer tour.

Wow we are leaving the day you come in. Sure to be a room for you LOL!
