Question about stroller rentals

Real quick, can you rent strollers at DTD? My DH doesn't want to lug our stroller to Florida for our DS3, b/c he thinks he won't be in it most of the time anyway. He wants to just rent. I am fine with that, but can you get them at DTD?

Yes, you can! Just pick up a DTD map when you arrive and check for the stroller/wheelchair rental locations.

I'm pretty sure your DS3 will appreciate having a stroller available most of the time - our DD was in hers alot when we visited WDW last - she was 3 at the time!

The one day DH refused to take our own stroller, he ended up carrying her on his shoulders most of the time and it made her grumpy because she couldn't have a nap (which she hadn't done at home for about a year and a half!)

Thank you. This will be our third trip this year and the first time DH doesn't want to bring the stroller. I think the rental will be fine for him. Considering he just turned three two months ago and is already 40 inches, he doesn't fit all that well in his stroller.

SIL told me she found the stroller rental in DTD next to Guest Services (if that helps).

According to the All Ears weekly newsletter I got today, this will soon no longer be an option..."Beginning December 23, 2006, length-of-stay strollers and wheelchairs will no longer be offered since Disney is unable to guarantee that a stroller or wheelchair will be available when you transfer to another park."

I was going to post this somewhere so I will try here...the allearsnet newsletter said no length of stay starting December 23, 2006...not 2005. Was that a typo? Or are they only doing it for 1 more year??
