Question about storing bags at resort

OK so you check out of your room and have bell services hold your bags while you go to the park,
You return to your resort get your bags and go to the airport.

Security asks, "Have these bags been out of your possesion at any time since they were packed?"

How do you answer?

the security at the hotels are pretty darn good too......we did check in at the curb side at Orlando Airport .....it was fantastic

you answer it, quite simply, by lying through your teeth!!! If it would make you feel better, pop the bags open when you pick them up. Make sure nothing has been disturbed. If you tell the airport that the bags we not with you the entire time be prepared for a LONG wait. They'll pull you aside and pull everything out of your bags, piece by piece, SOCK by SOCK, until they are satisfied that nothing has been tampered with. Then you'll be marked all the way through security till you are actually seated on the plane. This means the inspection will continue at each check-point. My boss made the fatal mistake of saying that he left his bag in his office while at a meeting... over 2 hours later, he was on his flight! Not to make lite of security precautions, but I think you can save yourself this particular headache!

You could always NOT go into the parks on your check-out day and go straight to the airport where you can sit on top of your luggage until it's time to fly! Nah, fibbing sounds like a much better idea!

I think what I would do is when I retrieve my luggage from bell services - I would open each piece and re-arrange something in it. I would consider this to be my final packing and could say that the bags have been in my possesion since I packed them.

We usually have to get in our bags anyway becuase we are in shorts in FL. but usually need to get jeans and sweatshirts for when we get back to WI.
