Question about St Louis weather

I'm going to St Louis next month for a few days. And, I'm starting to have time to think about the trip and was a little curious about the weather. I intend to look at a forecast when I'm packing and stuff but I'm curious as to what weather is usually like there in the middle of November. Also curious-are 5 or 7 day forecasts ever accurate there? Around here we don't even look at forecasts, we just look out our window, and dress for what's outside. But are things a little more accurate in St Louis? Or is the weather there just as unpredictable?

Checking the 5-7 day forecast for here can't hurt, but it can be unpredictable. We've been in a cool weather pattern here for days now. November can have warm days, but then again the snow could be flying! I don't think I'd bother bringing any shorts.

Layers are always a good idea and definately bring a jacket. Nov can swing either way. We can have snow or it could be 60. We always say if you don't like the weather today just wait till tomorrow, it'll change! Are you coming our way for something fun?

I would pack pants, some short-sleeved and some long-sleeved shirts and a medium weight jacket or heavy sweater. You probably won't need a heavy jacket in November. It will probably be in the 50s, but it will get cool at night. It's been in the 60's here the last few days, but just last week it was in the 70s and we were wearing shorts. So, it's unlikely that it will be that warm next month (it could happen) but more likely for the cooler "jacket" weather. What brings you here, business or pleasure?

Going for the National Honor Society national conference. So there will be a weekend where those from St Louis will notice a definite increase in teenagers (the advisor told us thousands attend )

That sounds like a fun event. Will you be staying in the city? There are many things that teens would enjoy if you have some down time. Our Zoo is really nice (and free), and there is the Arch. I hope you enjoy your time here in STL.

St. Louis has great food. Try to get the teens away from fast food long enough for some great Italian food!
