Question about SSR and DDP

Hi All,

Just thought I'd throw out some questions to the general population about SSR and DDP. I'm looking to book up for the last 2 weeks in September 2010 though disney uk and I have a few questions that maybe some kind people can answer.
Do the 1 bed villa rooms get cleaned by housekeeping
What is the walk like to downtown disney
What is the transportation like to the parks
What would the restaurants be like towards the end of september, would ADR's still be recommended for some of the more popular places (whispering canyon, raglan road etc)

I'm sure as we book up and start planning there will be even more questions nearer the time

Not sure about housekeeping on how it runs. I know when done through DVC you get trash and towel and on 8th day get the housekeeping but I am not sure through the WDTC.

Depending on where you stay, the walk is not that bad. It can be quite nice to walk to but as I said, depending on where you stay the walk varies.

Transportation has been good when we stayed there. Buses ran. Couple times we have had buses to ourselves.

What is the walk like to downtown disney - Is good and a nice way to enjoy the veiws

What is the transportation like to the parks - Is generally very good

What would the restaurants be like towards the end of september, would ADR's still be recommended for some of the more popular places (whispering canyon, raglan road etc) - If during the free DDP then yes do book in advance

I'm sure as we book up and start planning there will be even more questions nearer the time

We have booked SSR for this October and hope we like it because I booked again for the next year due to the great offers on at the moment.

I am subscribed to a Thread which is all related to SSR from walking distances, to menus, to how the Air Conditioning works in your room etc etc.

One other question about DDP, do you have restrictions on the menu's in the restaurants or is the whole menu available?

You can choose whatever main and dessert you like, starters and sides are extra There are some restrictions on the drinks I believe (alcohol and certain speciality drinks are extra, it's usually obvious which by their high prices but your server should be able to clarify)
