Question about splitting up between staterooms

Our family is silver, but for our next cruise, our in-laws will be joining us. Right now, we have DH, me, and one kid in our stateroom. We have our other daughter in the stateroom with our in-laws so that we can book everything together.

Need some clarification on a few things, though:
1. Because one daughter is in the other stateroom, we only need one picture package, correct?

2. Right now, we are driving and the in-laws are flying down. With one daughter in the room with them, would the 4 of us be able to board without them if we arrive at the port at different times? I know we can fill out the form once on the ship so that we can take her off the boat, but can we fill it out ahead of time?

3. Do we just tell our steward when we go to our rooms that it'll be 4 instead of 3? Or do we have to go to guest services to switch it around? She's 5, so room charging/keys aren't an issue. She'll always be with one of us.

This seems so confusing, but worth it to be able to book excursions and tickets at the same time to make sure it's all the same for everyone. Am I missing anything that might mess us up or I need to think about?

1. If your room purchases the full digital photo package, any photos that include anyone in your room or your (minor) daughter in the other room will be included. Any photos that include only your in-laws will not be.

2. The form for allowing you take your child off the ship must be filled out/signed by your in-laws. I believe that form is available during the online check in process. I'm not real sure, but I believe you would be able to check your daughter in (in her room) at the same time as you check in. And then your in-laws would check themselves in when they get to the port.

3. Your daughter must attend the muster drill for the room she is actually registered in. But you can have your room host set your room up to sleep 4 instead of 3 (assuming that your room sleeps 4 - not all do).
