Question about Southwest

Hello all! I am booked for a trip to the World September 24th through September 30th. I am waiting somewhat impatiently for Southwest to release their fares for then. I thihk I have become obsessed about checking the web each day. I even call my husband at work, since my office limits internet access, and have him check a few times a day. I stay up later at night to check at 1 AM my time, midnight Southwest time (CST) to see if they are out yet. Can anyone tell me when you usually see the fare updates? What time of day is it? Please help me stop the insanity! MY husband thanks you.

Have you signed up for their email alerts? That way they email you when their sales begin and end.

YES, go on SOUTHWEST's web-site and sign up for the "DINGS"!! They will send you emails IF there are any great fares.

I already subscribe to DING! but I don't think that will help me. Usually, the DING! fares that I see for travel from Philadelphia are for midweek. I am already booked for my hotel, etc. so I can not be flexible with the days of the week I am traveling. I even have ADR's for every day I will be in the world. I am just looking for when they will release the fares for anything flying after August 3rd.

Me too. I am going in September, and am going crazy checking the website each day. Just watch, they will release the fares the day that I don't check until later....its an omen, I can tell. So maybe I shouldn't check tomorrow LOL

If you check the (somewhat daunting ) "Waiting for Southwest" thread, speculation indicates that they may release new dates on April 20th, and that the release would be at 10 AM Central time. These are RUMORS, nobody has actual information.

In the past it has been between 10 am and 11:15 am Central Time.
