Question about soft drinks

I know the Mt. Dew in the US has caffine in it (it doesn't here)
are their any others I should remember other then the normal coke?

I don't recall seeing Mountain Dew in the parks. That's a Pepsi product. The parks serve Coca-Cola products. I think there's a Fanta Orange, though. It probably has caffeine in it, too.

Sprite is your best bet for caffiene free soda. Pink Lemonade is offered some places and also is caffiene free, as far as I can remember. Certain brands of Orange Soda and Root Beer are also caffiene free and the brands that do have caffiene are usually very low in content.

Since they're serving Coke products, you should double check that the root beer isn't Barq's, which does have caffeine in many areas.

Fanta Orange is caffeine free.

There's no Dr. Pepper. That's another Pepsi product. Well...Dr. Pepper is its own but Pepsi distributes it in many areas.

There might be some Mr. Pibb or just a Cherry Coke.

All beverages with Coke in the name have caffeine (except of course for Caffeine Free Coke!). That means Coke, Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, and Coke Zero.

Mr. Pibb does and Barq's root beer does (Diet Barq's does not, if you can find it).

Fanta, Sprite (and Sprite Zero/Diet Sprite), lemonade, and fruit punch do not.

No cans are allowed in carry on bags. I tried a long time ago after the 9/11. No liquids through security. You might get a way with it if you can get DP after going through security. I know what you mean about a week with out DP, my son and I drink it too. We will go to a store and get some before going to our resort and check in.

Speaking as a Coke distributor in the South....

Barq's DOES have caffeine, as do all the "Cokes" (with the exception of Caffeine Free Coke), Nestea, Vault, and Mr Pibb

All the Fanta flavors, Minute Maid flavors, Sprite (& Diet Sprite) and Schweppes Ginger Ale DO NOT

The food court at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (and maybe elsewhere but I haven't seen it) has Fresca, which is a caffeine-free grapefruit-flavoured soda. It's delicious!

I haven't seen either of them in bottles at the beverage carts, but I've seen them in bottles at the resort gift shops. I'm not sure if they have them in the soda fountains.

the soda rules up here used to be different I am not sure if they still are with the energy drink market now.
But there used to (may still) be a law that citrus based soda could not have caffeine in it.
I just looked and Health Canada prohibits caffeine in non-cola soft drinks, energy drinks get around it by calling it a diet supplement.
I figured I sould check
DD is on a medication where sha can't have caffeine (no chocolate is the hardest for her)
when we go on holiday they are allowed soda once in awhile as a treat.

Yes, it is completely different here! Mountain Dew is one of the worst for caffeine I believe! Vault (an "energy" soda) has more caffeine too and is also a citrus based soda. The "Coke-version" of Mountain Dew is Mello Yello. I'm not sure if thats around the parks or not, but I'm sure it has the caffeine like Mtn. Dew.

off topic... but how do they even sell Mt Dew up there without the caffeine?...IMO the high caffeine content is the only reason anyone drinks the stuff!! It's just a step down from Vault!!

My drink is Diet Sprite / Sprite Zero - I drank SO MUCH of it with the refillable mug - at the food court of ASMu! Was so happy they had my fav! That's the kind of thing that makes it for me

Here it is like a cross in flavour between 7-up and fresca
you can taste more citrus then 7-up but not as much as fresca and its pretty sweet
