Question about shuttle from LAX to DL

Hi!

Could anyone tell us if the Super Shuttle has to be full (or at a certain capacity) before they will transport us from the airport to Anaheim?

We aren't arriving at LAX until 10 p.m.and we're taking the red eye home (hopefully our one-year-old will be sleeping!), so we'd like our rides to and from LAX to be as efficient as possible.

SuperShuttle and the other shuttle services will try to book as many passengers in the same shuttle (maximum capacity) going on the same route as much as possible. It is a "reservation" system so the driver can tell you if he's waiting for another group or not.

Yes, they did a complete lap of all the LAX terminals when we rode with them and only when they ad filled every seat, including the passenger seat up front, did they set off.

It didn't take long though, as Anaheim is a very popular destination so there are always people wanting to go there.

I have an idiot question. Can you tell me how the red eye works? I hear "stars" saying they flew in on the red eye, like to NY. Then you say it, and you live in Ohio, like me. I didn't know the "red eye" was available to me. Please fill me in, and try not to laugh too hard.

Red eye is an overnight flight, which because of time zones, usually involves a very short night.

ie - if KMH leaves LA at 10PM, then that's already 1AM on the east coast. A 5 hour flight gets them in at 6AM on the east coast, so they have flown through the night in 5 hours (it's called red eye because that's how you'll look after taking the flight!)
