Question about scooters

This is probably a repeat question - but I need to ask it anyway!

Just wondering what those people do who drive their cars and rent scooters from outside of Disney? Can they only use resort transportation or can you break the scooter down for the car?

Just wondering how those who would rather drive their cars get to the parks manage with the scooter?

There are scooter models designed to be easily broken down and transported. If you are renting off-site, ask the vendor and they'll give you details of the model they carry.

Okay- that helps. My Dad is renting through an offsite vendor and they will have their car. They would rather drive than use the bus system but we were not sure if this was possible. He is renting one of the scooters that has the wheel in front - not the joystick.

We rent the go go elite from Apple Scooters for my mom: http://www.applescooter.com/. It assembles and disassembles in less than a minute. Very easy.

Your Dad will want to confirm that the model he has reserved will disassemble easily for transport. They can modify his reservation if needed. He won't want to wait until arrival to swap it.
