question about savanna view in Kidani

Well, I just got off the phone with MS and the rep did not know the answer to this.....said they haven't been given the info. yet..??

If we book SV at Kidani, is Pembe the only (or main) savanna there? If so, no animals until Sept. '09 correct?

She did say, the theme pool at Kidani would be open, but no ASSURANCE the SV would mean a savanna WITH animals.

Can anyone offer any definitive info. on this??

Based on the Kidani maps and aerial views I've seen most of the SV rooms face the Sunset Savanna. They have announced that the animals will be getting acclimated to the expansion of that savanna from Jan 15-Apr 15 so there may be no animals on the Sunset Savanna between those dates. The first phase of Kidani opens on May 1, 2009 so the animals are supposed to be back by that time.

The MS rep may be confused by the information about the new Pembe Savanna at the far end of Kidani, the area furthest from Jambo House. That savanna doesn't open until Sep '09 and so far DVC has not declared any AKV Units in that part of Kidani either so guests staying in SV rooms at Kidani prior to Sep 1st will probably have Sunset Savanna views, with animals.

Whew! I'm hoping for the first of June. I would be really be bummed if I didn't get any animals with my SV. I still have to book at 7 months so I've got my fingers crossed.
